real estate weekly goals?
What would be a good way to set weekly goals for real estate success if I’m a new agent without experience? I would like to make one to get started but my Broker and I have not begun my training yet. There must be a way to create them/write them down without all the training or experience. What would they look like?
Not sure of your schedule, but here goes:
1. Market yourself.
a. send out business cards and letters to all friends and
family members and business acquaintances
b. Choose a location or market (commercial, residential,
farm) to focus on and learn everything you can about
that area. Then send out letters to all owners and tell
them what you know about their market, do your
research, comparables and past history and today‘s
market. Someone will call
c. Find a mentor. An agent who has been doing this a few
years may allow you to shadow him/her and see how the
process works.
d. Ask questions, especially the dumb ones.
e. Make good choices about your workplace environment.
If the people in your office are not supportive of each
other and you are not comfortable, go elsewhere, this
is one job where you are wanted by all brokers.
I will leave the weekly goals up to you, based on your market and you as an individual.
